David Black Director - Chief Operating Officer and Head of Research

David Black graduated in Law and qualified as a Solicitor in 1987. He spent 5 years with Linklaters practising as a securities lawyer covering primarily debt capital markets within the firm's International Finance Section, the final 2 years of which were spent in Linklaters' New York office.

In 1993 he joined the Transaction Structuring Group of Salomon Brothers where his responsibilities covered debt capital markets, equity capital markets and corporate finance and in early 2000 he was appointed Head of the Transaction Structuring Group.

He resigned to join Hogarth Davies Lloyd in 2000 where he is currently Chief Operating Officer and Head of Research.
